Synthetic biology is a new and groundbreaking field that has the potential to change the future of research. Despite being a promising realm of research, synthetic biology is currently underrepresented at ASU. DIYbio aims to change that by providing students with practical experience, research skills, exposure to academic and industry professionals, and interdisciplinary interaction between engineering and life sciences.
