Submit an experience

The Fulton Diversity Difference initiative seeks to recognize the efforts of students, faculty and staff as they learn more and apply what they learn to help create a welcoming and inclusive community for all. Our calendar of workshops provides many of these opportunities. We also invite you to submit additional opportunities that you have participated in so that we can acknowledge and recognize your contributions.

More about the Diversity Difference programs

The goal of this project is to provide a series of diversity-based trainings for faculty, staff and students within Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. Our aim is to create a culture of understanding and welcoming for the larger Fulton Schools community.

Participants attend multiple sessions and earn recognition for their commitment to creating a culture of diversity of inclusion.

Diversity Difference programs encourage students, staff, and faculty to attend sessions to promote pursuit of inclusivity and diversity within Fulton Schools of Engineering and the overall engineering industry and related fields.

Individuals will be able to select Diversity Difference programs which are of interest to them personally, to help them grow towards being more inclusive of their fellow ASU and Fulton Schools community members.

Those who complete sessions will receive a corresponding recognition object, such as a magnet, indicating that they have completed a tier of the Fulton Diversity Difference program. These can be placed on office doors, cubicles, residential hall room doors, or other locations to display to members of the community that the Fulton Schools, and the individual, are working to create an open and inclusive community.
