DII@FSE > FSE Equity Book Club

The FSE Equity Book Club strives to cultivate an environment where education and awareness regarding racism in society and academia are fostered among faculty and staff through reading, discourse and engagement. 

Participants in the book club will read two books, one focusing on systemic anti-Black racism within society and one that contextualizes this racism within the higher-education and STEM.  They will meet as a group once every 3 – 4 weeks across either the Spring or Fall 2021 semester to engage in a facilitated, virtual (via zoom) discussion around key points from the reading and then will amplify the impact of their learning by formally sharing it with others in their ASU community.
