Undergraduate Standards Petition Form
An Undergraduate Standards Petition Form is required for various circumstances.
All materials included in the submission must be typed. Submit the complete packet to your advisor in order to discuss the petition and rationale (it is suggested you make an appointment with your advisor to do this).
The complete packet is reviewed by the advisor, program chair, and Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering Dean’s Office.
Enroll in more than 19 hours during Fall or Spring semester. For Summer term, refer to Load Limit.
Submit a packet containing the following items:
- Petition PDF
- DARS audit
- Unofficial transcript
Enroll in a graduate level course for undergraduate level credit.
Submit a packet containing the following items:
- Petition PDF
- Approval from faculty member offering course (could be an email or note from faculty member)
- DARS audit
- Unofficial transcript
Note: Honors students interested in enrolling in a graduate level course are NOT required to submit a petition if student has a 3.0 GPA and is within one year of graduation. However, a note from the instructor is required. Contact appropriate advisor if interested.
Enroll in a course for the third time.
