Other Funding Opportunities

The Undergraduate Teaching Assistant (UGTA) and ASU 101 Section Leader program selects successful undergraduate students to serve as teaching assistants in a variety of classes offered by the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering.  UGTAs receive a $1,000 stipend at the end of the semester and ASU 101 Section Leaders receive a $500 stipend per section.

The Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative (FURI) is designed to enhance your engineering undergraduate curriculum by Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative (FURI) providing hands-on lab experience, independent and thesis-based research and the opportunity to travel to professional conferences under the mentorship of an engineering doctoral student or faculty member. FURI students receive a stipend of $1,500 (less any applicable taxes) for their funded semester(s), which will be disbursed at the end of the semester.

The Master’s Opportunity for Research in Engineering (MORE) is designed to enhance your engineering and technical graduate curriculum by providing hands-on lab experience, faculty mentorship, and independent and thesis-based research. Students will be paid a stipend of $1,500 their funded semester, which will be disbursed at the end of the semester as a stipend.

The tutoring center is a fun atmosphere where you will be challenged to help students overcome difficulties they encounter in their engineering course work. Tutors are expected to work between 8-20 hours per week and should apply through the student Employment website.
