Editing and Proposal Preparation Services (EPPS)
We provide workshops, information sessions, round-table forums and one-on-one assistance for specific funding opportunities and strategic initiatives for engineering school faculty members. We also assist by assuming the coordination and editing tasks of grant proposal submissions. Review proposal contents for compliance with sponsor guidelines. Our services may include:
- Review proposal contents for compliance with sponsor guidelines.
- Assistance with agency-specific forms, support letters, facilities descriptions, formatting, CVs.
- Aid in the creation of a proposal-specific writing style.
- Synthesize multiple author content to ensure cohesive voice.
- Editing and Proofreading copy.
We work closely with Sponsored Projects Officers (SPO) from the Office for Research and Sponsored Projects Administration (ORSPA) to complete the administrative aspects of proposal submissions.
EPPS is not a replacement of the SPO or your Research Advancement Administrator; we enhance each other's work to help faculty produce the most competitive proposal possible.
Who Can Benefit?
- New faculty seeking guidance on specific funding opportunities and the proposal preparation and submission process.
- Faculty members working on multi-PI, multi-disciplinary proposals in need of a neutral entity to bring together the diverse administrative and editorial requirements of the proposal.
- Faculty needing help with editing individual and/or joint submissions.
- Additionally, we can assist FSE faculty requesting a proposal review for potential compliance issues and other administrative details.
