Current research involves energy efficient Dewvaporation in the application to desalination of seawater, concentration of waste streams, CMP and Evaporation Pond reclamation , VOC removal of ground waters, fractionation of multi-component systems. ASU patents associated with dewvaporation are being commercialized. Thirty years as an academic professor in the areas of process design , unit operations and simultaneous heat and mass transport phenomena. Six years as a process engineer in the petroleum and chemical industry including R&D, design and plant operation. Thirty years as a consultant in heat/mass transfer, distillation, crystallization and process engineering.
