Veronica Burrows is Associate Professor of Engineering in Chemical and Materials Engineering at Arizona State University, and Associate Director of ASUs Center for Research on Education in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Technology (CRESMET). She received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University. Her research interests include the applied surface chemistry of semiconductors and thin film sensors. Her educational research and interests include learning frameworks in STEM fields, criterion-based assessment techniques, reflective practice in engineering education, and girl-friendly science and technology experiences for K-12 students.
