Janaka Balasooriya joined ASU in 2007. Prior to ASU, Janaka held a teaching/research position at University of Missouri-Rolla. Also, he carries several years of industry experience as a Software Engineer/Engineer IT.
Janaka's research interests are in the domains of Distributed Computing, Computational Science including Bioinformatics, and Mobile Computing. He has taught courses in Software Engineering, Programming Language Concepts/Translators, Data structures using C++.
