Click on the links for more information on eligibility, criteria, how to nominate someone, and the selection process. Classified Staff and Service Professionals in the School of Engineering are eligible to win a $500 check, trophy/plaque and a letter of congratulations from the Deans.

Objective

The IMPACT and EXCELLENCE Awards are intended to identify and recognize staff members who distinguish themselves in their performance and contributions to the University in promoting the Vision and Mission of the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering.

One Awardee will be selected annually in each of the following categories:

IMPACT Awards

IMPACT is an acronym for six award categories:

I
 Innovation recognizes an individual who has been instrumental in the development of new ideas/processes which add value to the department and/or college.
M
 Mentoring recognizes an individual who provides guidance and support, is a source of encouragement and momentum for continued learning and service and has a commitment to help others achieve a sense of satisfaction and growth.
P
 Performance recognizes an individual who has distinguished himself/herself through his/her outstanding contributions and performance in support of the Department or School’s academic, administrative and/or research efforts.
A
 Achievement recognizes an individual who reaches beyond his or her defined responsibilities to pursue external opportunities to improve himself/herself, the college, or the community, and through those efforts enhance his/her ability to perform in his/her position, or enhance the standing of the School.
C
 Customer Service recognizes an individual who consistently exceeds expectations while providing value-added service to external and internal customers: providing the highest quality of service in a timely manner while demonstrating a positive attitude and depth of knowledge.
T
 Teamwork recognizes a team of 2-10 members who strive for the highest possible standards and who distinguish themselves by exemplifying teamwork, communication, and positive interaction.

Excellence Award

The Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering Excellence Award honors and recognizes the invaluable contributions of full-time, supervisory staff members whose outstanding dedication, competence, conscientious performance and ingenuity has had a significant impact on the university.
