Job/Internship Postings
The Engineering Career Center provides companies access to a Web-based system for job and internship postings and permits easy access to students and alumni across all four of the ASU campuses. In addition to being able to search resumes and e-mail students directly, your company representative can sign up for career fairs, schedule an information session and arrange on-campus interviews. Students can see the job and internship postings and apply through the system or directly to you. Consult with Patti Culley, our corporate relations coordinator, to discuss your unique needs, via e-mail at Patti.Culley@asu.edu, or by phone at 480-965-2966.
Sun Devil CareerLink is a convenient, online career management system designed to satisfy your recruiting needs. If you have previously used Sun Devil CareerLink, you can proceed with your posting. If you are new to the system, please follow the directions for registering with the system, then select "forgot password" to receive a login password. If you have a question or problem, please e-mail ecc@asu.edu, or call 480-965-2966.
Engineering Internship Program (EIP)
The EIP is a sponsored internship program that permits highly-qualified master’s- and doctoral-level students to work with leading-edge companies. In some cases, junior- and senior-level students may be eligible to participate in the EIP. Through special sponsorship agreements, engineering students are hired as ASU student employees and placed for internships and research work with the companies. Sponsorship fees include a salary for the intern, employee related expenses and administrative fees.
For more information or to become a partner, contact our Internship Coordinator. Cher Pappagallo can be reached by phone at 480-965-2966, or e-mail cher.pappagallo@asu.edu.
Affiliate-Engineering Internship Program (A-EIP)
The A-EIP permits students from other ASU colleges and schools to participate in technology and business related internships through EIP-type sponsorship agreements with companies.
Benefits of recruiting through the A-EIP include:
- The ability to search a database of résumés.
- The opportunity to review an individual on a temporary basis before possibly making a permanent offer of employment.
- Minimum recruiting costs.
- Hassle-free hiring. ASU can handle all of the paperwork: payroll, workers compensation and other HR processes.
- Brand presence. Your job position is aggressively advertised among talented college students.
- Your company has selects from a pool of eager interns.
- Interns can assist with on-going projects and be converted to hires upon graduation if they meet your requirements.
- Companies can sponsor student interns for one semester, or multiple semesters, based on your workflow needs.
You can gain exposure to hundreds of qualified high-tech and engineering students who can provide skills and experience, even during tight economic times.
