Camp Sky-Y offers a unique experience for a summer in the Arizona pines. Founded in 1938, YMCA Camp Sky-Y is in Prescott, Ariz., 80 miles north of Phoenix. Cabins are grouped in a "village" by gender close to a bathroom. Each cabin has cubbies and closet space for the campers to store their belongings.

Each bathhouse has four separate showers with changing area, toilets and sinks.

With lots of fresh air outside, each camper has a window at their bunk that they can open to let that air flow through the cabin. All cabins have large front porches—great for cabin chats and get togethers. The dining hall at Sky-Y is set up so that every cabin eats meals as a whole group. The food is served family-style and comes out to the table in bowls and on platters.
